Good Aussie Pub

Hadn’t been here for years, but was not disappointed. Husky Pub is now an even better place to get a cold beer or a chilled wine on a hot day. Had a beer on the balcony prior to attending a function in the downstairs area. Service is quick and efficient, and prices are reasonable. We overstayed our timings at the function, but the staff were very understanding and polite. The food at the function was delicious and arrived hot when it should have or cold as required.
We went back the next day just to sit in the shade and watch the pelicans fly across JB, with a chilled beer in hand. Great place to watch the world go by. Thanks Husky pub.

It served a purpose.

Great bar & restaurant area, & being given a drinks voucher was a nice touch - the wine was lovely.
The room was comfortable enough if a little dated but it smelled VERY strongly of bleach.
We had a door out to a small terrace area, with a part view of the beach & part view of the car park & we did sit out with a cup of tea in the rain (it's covered thankfully). We did see a couple of cockroaches while we were sitting outside (I stress, they were OUTSIDE on the balcony, not inside the hotel).
The food & wine downstairs in the restaurant was good, nice & hot, quick service (good to see a vegan choice too, which is something I found very lacking while travelling down from Brisbane to Port Campbell.)
Quirky little town with a gorgeous beach & a quaint little cinema. We were lucky enough to spot some wallabies in the locality too.
Good little row of shops opposite including a pharmacy for that all important mozzie bite cream & a wonderful treasure trove type shop that sells all kinds of random tat.

Sunday Roast Special sold out at 6.15pm

Arrived at the hotel at 6.15pm on Sunday night planning to have the Sunday roast special, only to be told it was sold out!! No alternative offered. I asked if I could have just the roast veggies if the lamb was sold out, No! Nothing else on the menu appealed, so i chose to have no dinner

Best pizza

The food from Pizza Rio was wonderful.
The pizzas were amazing. Even the kids had and cheese pizza was great. Cooked in authentic pizza oven, fresh ingredients on pizza dough.
Wasnt pleased with the food from Bistro .
View is spectacular. Lovely location and facilities.

Great food. Nice environment. Reasonable price.

Really good food: our group had pizza, pasta and sandwiches. Decent service. Quite a pleasant environment. Pricing was reasonable.
