A good place to stay

I just stayed for 2 nights at this motel within the last week, and it was good.
The location is convenient, because it in on Grand River Transit's #204 route, which gets you from just across the street from this motel to downtown Kitchener. This motel also has a reasonable rate, and a very nice manager.

Comfortable, nicely refurbished motel

This is a superb motel. The road motel appearance and Victoria location could mislead you to think that it's outdated; to the contrary, it's scrupulously well kept, both in its classic exterior and its refurbished interiors. My room was comfortable with a great bed, desk, and seating area. Windows are new. All locks in good order. The room was equipped with a huge tv, fridge, and microwave. The tile work in the bathroom was so nice, I was compelled to take a picture of it. Owner is kind and efficient. Security deposit is taken via charge and refund rather than hold, but I had no problem with that, on card. At time of this writing, the motel is not listed on major booking services, and hotmail address on web is outdated; just call.

bed bugs!!!!

Stayed 2 nights in November 2019. First night not too bad but got a couple of bites on my finger. The morning of checkout after 2nd night my husband was covered in at least 15 bites and I had a few more. Oh my!!

Decent for a great price

Just there for 1 night and needed something fairly cheap and in a central location.We paid $66...not bad at all. Upon first impressions...um..not great. The grounds around the hotel were unkept, some garbage around and under the big oak tree was a 'charming' seating area with a broken picnic table and a couple of broken office chairs. There were beautiful plants and pots around in front of the rooms and the immediate area of the rooms were tidy. The main office...EESHK and yikes! Very dirty and far from pleasant smelling. The room was actually quite nice. The furnishings were nice and everything looked very clean...just dont look in the corners. Definitely need to pay closer attention to window sills and corners. New air conditioning was great. Not a family friendly place as I was hit on in the parking lot, asked to 'party' and asked if I was there alone by stoner staying at the hotel. What do you expect at a $66/night hotel? We would definitely go back for the price,location and decent rooms.

Terrible

Stayed here one night in a pinch. It wasn’t until after we had paid that we were advised that they had turned the heat off because the “weather is warmer”. There was a heater in the room but it didn’t help. Spent the whole night freezing. It’s also disgusting and dirty what looked like blood on the ceiling. The sheets were stained as well.
