This was our first trip to Tahiti, and knowing that we would have someone meeting us at the airport to pick us up and take us directly our accommodations was a game changer. Our flight was delayed by five hours, and yet Mauruuru was still waiting for us upon our very late arrival. She was a wonderful host! We stayed in the deluxe bungalow room, and it was immaculately clean. We were pleasantly surprised with a tray of fresh fruit and fruit juice delivered to us in our room in the morning. There was coffee and tea available first thing. It is not a deluxe hotel, but it has a charming, authentic Tahitian bungalow vibe that we greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again!

Convenient to the airport, but strictly hostel-quality

We stayed one night in the two-room family suite before an early 7 AM flight. It is located just up the hill from the airport, making it extremely convenient for a quick layover. Arranging an early morning drop-off (4:30 am - too early, fyi) was easy and via a large van.
Suite was spacious, but oddly filled with extra items - stacked drywall, an unused mattress propped against the wall, an empty picture frame, a two-legged stool, a car seat, etc. The rooms were otherwise spare, the beds firm but functional.
The bathroom door was missing its handle—leaving just an open hole—and wouldn't latch at all, making privacy potentially an issue depending on the group. Additionally, the bathroom windows are glass slats that do not seal.
Service is hands-off. While having access to a shared kitchen was handy in theory, it was dirty during our stay. On the positive side, the noise level was low, other guests were friendly.
The rooms may vary, so my review ONLY pertains to the suite. I would not recommend this property if you are expecting a standard hotel experience. The atmosphere is best suited for backpackers or youths looking for the cheapest, no-frills experience near the airport.

Clean and cosy lodge (not hotel) close to the airport, with full kitchen facilities, friendly and helpful owners, and a few airport transfer service. We had an early flight out and Reva happily dropped us at the airport when it opened. Supermarkets are a 15-20 minute walk away, a couple of restaurants are 10-15 minute walk away.

We needed a place to stay for one night - our flight from CA arrived at 6pm and our flight to Bora Bora was to leave the following morning at 8am. Riva the proprietor was easy to get a hold of on WhatsApp to let her know that we landed in PPT. She picked us up from the airport curbside and brought us back the following morning to the airport at 6am. The property looks very close and walkable based on the map, but it is an uphill walk. Best if you are picked up. Would message the property for the WhatsApp contact number. The property itself was airconditioned and clean, fine for a few hours to sleep and shower.
