Great Place

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Plenty of choices at breakfast. Great location for public transport and sightseeing. We would stay here again if travelling to Augsburg.

Good choice

Even if the owner is a bit surly, the hotel is fantastic: working elevator, wide, clean and tidy room, a value breakfast (with salmon). I really appreciated the parking lot: it's a good choice coming in Augsburg by car, the city centre is ten minutes walking.

In fact, I would choose another hotel!

The rooms are ok + clean! Only the breakfast!! It's been a long time since anything like this has happened. Counted rolls, bread so old and so dry, chewing was difficult. Hardly any cheese, sausage itself green fodder had to be asked.
We ordered fried eggs. On day 3 we were told: now only 2 eggs are left!!!!
Just before Christmas, no biscuit, no studs. And quite honestly: that I was sitting at tables with transparent plastic film....was a long time ago!
But it should be said: right next to the hotel is a bakery!!!!
We can review the positive
with respect to the breakfast in no way understand!!!

Guests seemingly not welcome

The hotel was booked by us to stay here during our New Year's Eve trip.
On December 18th, we suddenly received the notice that the hotel would be taking company holidays at this time and would therefore significantly reduce the service.
We asked for a discount because according to the hotel the room service and breakfast should be reduced. This request was rejected with the explanation that we could cancel and book another hotel in Augsburg.
This gave us the impression that guests were not welcome and the hotel hoped for a cancellation. We cancelled and now had to find a new accommodation for five people under time pressure.
We found the hotel's approach strange, because company holidays are actually planned for the long term. And despite announced significant restrictions, not showing accommodation is incomprehensible to us.
That's why we can't recommend this place!

... it really doesn't have to be.

The upgrade agreed by phone the day before did not work.  Not so bad. The classic rooms oll, dark, square. The bedside cabinets far from the bed. Shampoo and shower bath should be brought with you. And now for the most important thing: breakfast! Everything seems to have been counted, especially the rolls.  (Very close to a great bakery). If everybody, everybody. Cheese and cold cuts in the totally cheap version and not really tasty. Very out of character for Bavaria. However, almost everything was packed in plastic again. A lot of superfluous packaging waste that definitely doesn't fit into the time.
Conclusion: Far too little for the money...
