For us, the Edlgütl is one of the most beautiful small hotels in the Bavarian Forest – a place to unwind and enjoy.
After our first stay, it quickly became clear to us: We will return to the Edlgütl. The renovation of the main building with its modern wooden facade and the new retreats piqued our curiosity – and our expectations were even exceeded.
We spent several days in the new Siehm retreat and thoroughly enjoyed the combination of stylish design, private sauna, and freestanding bathtub under the open sky. Especially in the evening, amidst the tranquility of the Bavarian Forest, genuine moments of well-being are created here.
What truly makes the Edlgütl special are Bianca and Andreas. We have rarely experienced hosts who care for their guests so personally. Bianca remembers many small details from previous stays and creates an incredibly warm atmosphere from the very first moment.
Culinarily, the Edlgütl is definitely worth a visit. Andreas serves creative menus with regional ties and much finesse every evening. In addition, there are exceptional beers, the house-made Edlgütl beer, and exciting wines like the mixed variety from Passau's Waizenberger winery.
We were also thrilled by the breakfast concept with a custom-made breakfast basket via the house app.

Unforgettable hospitality: A chalet weekend that delights!
Our weekend at the chalet was just wonderful! From the first minute we felt incredibly comfortable – and this is mainly due to Andreas and Bianca, who are perfect hosts with a lot of warmth and attention to detail.
The chalet is not only stylishly and comfortably furnished, but also well equipped to enjoy a relaxing break. The quiet location, the beautiful surroundings and the many loving little things have made our stay unforgettable. A real highlight were the lovingly put together breakfast baskets, which made sure every morning a perfect start to the day. Put together with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a lot of care, they were a treat.
Andreas’ passion for cooking was also a special highlight. You immediately notice that he is not only at the stove with skill, but also with real enthusiasm. Anyone who has the opportunity to taste one of his dishes will quickly discover that there is a real expert at work here!
Andreas and Bianca, you have created a place with your hospitality and your lovingly managed “Edlgütl”, to which you simply want to return again and again. Thank you for this wonderful weekend – we will definitely be back!

Natur erleben - Ruhe genießen
Das kleine Landgut mit stylischem STOAHAUS, HOIZHAUS-Chalet und 5 individuellen Ferienwohnungen liegt idyllisch, in absoluter Alleinlage, in der Nähe von Breitenberg. Freut euch auf die außergewöhnliche Kulinarik von Andreas und den besonders herzlichen Rundum-Service von Bianca. Und dann lädt euch noch die abwechslungsreiche Dreiländerregion Bayerischer Wald - Böhmerwald - Mühlviertel zum Entdecken und Genießen ein. Ach es war einfach herrlich.

Wundervolle Urlaubswoche bei herzlichen Gastgebern
Sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnungen in traumhafter Lage.
Dank toller Freizeittipps der Gastgeberin Bianca hatten wir viele interessante Ausflugsziele. Auch an Tagen ohne Ausflug wird es nicht langweilig, da es vor Ort zahlreiche Spiel- und Freizeitmöglichkeiten wie z.B. Spielplatz mit Baumhaus, Spielzimmer, Bücherregal, Hasen, Katze, Tischtennisplatte und Sauna gibt.
Abends hatten wir Gelegenheit, die Kochkünste des Gastgebers Andreas zu genießen - als Menü oder einzelne Gerichte aus dem Menü. Das Essen ist ein Genuss, den man auf keinen Fall verpassen darf. Der Service ist dank Bianca ein Traum! Wer lieber unter sich sein möchte, bekommt das Essen auf Wunsch auch in der Ferienwohnung serviert.
Der Frühstücksservice, der entweder als reiner Brötchenservice, als Komplettprogramm oder Teilen davon gewählt werden kann, rundet das Wohlfühlerlebnis ab.
Absolute Empfehlung!!!

Traumhafte Ferienwohnung
Super schöne Ferienwohnungen und Chalet. Top eingerichtet und gepflegt. Ein Traum im grünen. Die Ruhe zu genießen und dann auch noch Abend kulinarisch verwöhnen lassen. Urlaub pur bei herzlichen Gastgebern.
