Very sour aftertaste!
But here's the thing, we had booked this hotel through Booking.com and also paid through Booking.com.
But a day later €85.51 was charged to our credit card while we were sleeping.
Then you think something must have gone wrong.
Of course you can, so mail sent, which is not answered. HOW BAD!!!!
Then call, you'll be sent from the cabinet to the wall!
And then suddenly the 11th call turns out to be Booking within a minute, when it is clearly written off via the hotel
I give up the fight and take my loss!
But I still took the trouble to write this review.
If this hadn't happened I would have judged them very, very well!
Now I give them a fat F, the aftercare is just way down arrow.
Just don't want to bother checking out how this works.

We are all the more sorry that the unexpected charge of €85.51, and especially the communication afterwards, overshadowed what was otherwise a positive experience. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to contact us several times without receiving a clear answer.
We take your comments regarding our communication and follow-up service very seriously. This is certainly not the level of service we want to provide to our guests. You should have received a clear explanation and proper assistance much sooner.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the frustration and inconvenience caused. We regret that an otherwise pleasant stay ended with such a disappointing experience.

Parking is extra in case you do bring a car.
Breakfast was included in our rate and more German than continental (which you may enjoy depending on your preferences).
The rooms have bunk beds but lots of space. Shower and toilet (heated floor) are in separate rooms, which is nice.
Overall a great option of your on a budget.

Long wait for staff at check-in (25 mins), decent breakfast, unacceptable black mould in shower.
