A great restaurant with German cuisine

We were invited to a family party in OF and that, as a Frankfurter, but we had to revise our concerns, it was great.Great ambience, nice table decoration, all food fresh ,a great quality and everything looked very appetizing from us and was very digestible and delicious.Also the service,friendly,nice and the guest facing.We can only recommend the post office,so it is worth it sometimes to reach OF Bürgel .

Only partially recommended...

Friendliness and cleanliness ok. Check-in only possible from 17:30 in the restaurant, breakfast is not available, the restaurant only opens for lunch. The stairway dangerous, special care is required. Room very basic and cold...

Cool place!

Cosy little place in offenbach. I stopped for one night during my bike tour and it was the perfect little German shelter for the night! Also very good soup for my hungry legs in the evening, and perfect beer in their lounge to end the day!
Thanks to Rudolf for his kindness and welcoming spirit! Would come back for sure!

Still a nice old Gasthouse

We have stayed here before and all is the same. Historic hotel 100 years old with outdoor beer garden. Rooms are large clean and a little pricy at 98e including breakfast. There is no AC or fan in the rooms so in sumer they can be unconfortable. Our room was up one flight of stairs and their is no elevator. Breakfast is adequate but very simple not like hotels with eggs to order. Hotel also has an excellent restaurant but it was closed for family vacation. WIFI is about 2.75 MBS which is adequate for email but insufficient for Vidio streaming. We will probably stay here again but there are other hotels in Burgel you may wish to consider

Nice old german gasthouse

We staid here four days and enjoyed it. The Breakfast was excellent, The room is not fancy with no air conditioning, but large enough and the price was more than reasonable. The food is excellent in the restaurant and drinks in the outside beer garden are enjoyable. Parking is tight but we managed. Nice location for walking along the river.
