Pleasant atmosphere with delicious food

As a family, it should be a local restaurant where there is something for every taste. We found it here.
We had tarte flambée in various varieties and our child had schnitzel with fries. Everything came very quickly and was delicious.
The waiter was alone for both indoors and outdoors, and despite the stress, he was very friendly and accommodating.
Conclusion:
The food is delicious. The price-performance ratio is okay.
The location (we sat outside) was very nice.
We would gladly come back.

For the money I expect a little more

Partly no toilet in the room, the mattresses and pillows are worn out. The breakfast has clearly air up, for €13.50/pers. I expect at least the offer of a breakfast egg, no canned fruit salad and no sausage and loaf from the discount store. Dinner was okay, a small salad for €6,- with very clear selection is not acceptable. The waiter was very nice. Last but not least, the owner miscalculated in his favor when paying the hotel bill by €100,-, I then calculated it for him.

Efficient venue for groups

We came as a group and had pre-ordered the individual dishes according to a list provided by the restaurant. This meant that everything went very quickly and smoothly. The food was very tasty. We would happily go back.

Nice spot in Wolfach. Service is fine - ignore the bad reviews.

I don't understand the bad reviews - service is relaxed, but that was our experience in general in the Schwarzwald. Take your time, relax, you are on holiday and not in a rush.
We only had coffee - which was fine - but the plates being served to other tables looked really good especially the salads.
Disappointed that they did not have cake to go with the coffee.

Lunch in the restaurant

The waitress was so miserable and unfriendly today. I live locally, so I like to support local businesses, but never again for this restaurant. The food was good, but the service has really put me off of this place. She really didn't care about any of the customers. We actually had to go and look for her to pay our bill. Disgraceful.
