The hotel was nice but has a major flaw that was not mentioned in its description. The hotel has no air conditioning in the rooms. It was hot, muggy and so uncomfortable.
I would never of stayed there in the summer if I knew this.

Below average

The hotel has seen better days. Rooms are large, the location to the city is good. Management and organization leave something to be desired. The reception is only staffed in the afternoon, but you can at least get something to drink at the bar when you arrive. The bar's selection is limited and more than just a hindrance to a good rating. The concierge has no idea about the drinks and has to look up almost everything. With the elevator and its noises, you get the feeling it comes from a palace of the Sumerians or from Troy, after Odysseus was done with it. No restaurant or anything to eat, very sad! And nothing in the immediate vicinity. Parking is available, which is good. Okay so far, but no more than 2 stars and not again for us.

$117 for a night in front of locked doors

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. We booked the overnight stay on the same day at 11:39 PM directly via the hotel website. The booking system accepted the reservation without any problems, although check-in after 11:00 PM was apparently no longer possible at all. From our perspective, a booking for the same night should not be possible at all then, or at least an unmistakable notice should appear that check-in is no longer possible.
We stood in front of locked doors at night around 1:00 AM together with our three-year-old daughter and subsequently had to start the approximately three-hour drive home again.
The handling of the situation was particularly disappointing. We were treated unkindly on the phone and the call was simply ended. The hotel also showed no understanding or empathy via email. Not a word of regret – instead, they insisted exclusively on charging €117 for an overnight stay that we could not take advantage of at all due to their own booking system.
For us, this is not customer-oriented service. We therefore unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.

We travelled as a large group we made to feel very welcome. Rooms were cleaned daily, staff are friendly and welcoming and the parking was safe and secure.

Business Trip

I stayed at the Dormero Hotel in Worms in July 2026 for work reasons and the experience was overall decent. You can see that the property has been modernized, room cleaning is done upon request and I don't know if you pay extra for it. Kind and helpful staff. The breakfast is good, the hotel's location is convenient, just a ten-minute walk from the center. During the summer period, however, the lack of air conditioning was felt: the room was quite hot in the evening hours. Even the Wi-Fi connection, at least in my room, was weak or absent and I had to use my cell phone as a hotspot to be able to connect to the internet and this is a limitation when traveling for work. It is equipped with a parking space but be careful because it is for a fee (about 19 euros per day) and this is a disadvantage. Overall, a property with good potential: with some improvements to the services, it could become a more comfortable choice.
