Heaven on earth
‘Little heaven on earth’. Nice, clean apartments, all you need. Quiet place if you need that for your holiday. Sofia and her parents will do everything to help you during your stay and they are always around. You can get small meals and order breakfast (they day before) cold beers and other drinks.
The pool area is clean and the pool has a perfect size according to the place.
There’s a steep walk from the streets to the hotel, but it has a great view. There are not many restaurants and just a few small supermarkets, but the bus leaves very often too areas with more shops and activities.
I recommend to book an apartment with view to the pool.
Would definitely come back!!

Perfect
We stayed as a family of three—my partner, our almost two-year-old, and myself—and I truly couldn’t recommend this hotel more for families. It was absolutely perfect for us. Sofia, the hotel owner, was incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. She brought fresh eggs from her own chickens every day for our baby, and kindly offered us a late check-out on our departure day so our little one could still enjoy her midday nap. The pool area was spotless and very well maintained, and having the option to purchase snacks and drinks poolside was a lovely bonus.
We’ll definitely be returning.

Quiet hotel
The pictures correspond to reality. Everything worked well and with good service. In the small kitchen there was what is needed for easy "cooking" + good fridge o freezer. Extra bed a little hard. Nice pool, usually we were there ourselves. Uphill to the hotel, quiet area with quite few restaurants and supermarkets located about 7-8 min. walk from the hotel as well as to the beach (Kalamaki - nice!) No "evening commercial" in the area if anyone is after it.

Lovely and friendly!!!
We recently stopped here as a family of 3, this was my and my sons first time at Sofia Apartments while my wife visited 24 years ago with her family as a child. It as just how she remember it!! We were made to feel extremely welcome, the hotel isn’t large and is run by the same family. It was fantasist for my wife to reminisce and make memories with her own family. The pool was fabulous and our son spent every day in it and was most refreshing when it was mid 30’s. The hotel is excellent value for money and clean and situated away from the main town of Chania and is peaceful. Chania is accessible by bus for a couple of euros per person and run frequently. Within the local vicinity there are various bars and restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and evening meals with lots of choice. The hotel offer a selection of drinks and either pizza or toasties while around the pool.
We will be back and can’t wait to return.
We would highly recommend Sofia Apartments for either a weeks holiday or even for a few days if travelling around the island.

Fantastic family holiday
We stayed as a family with three children and had a fantastic holiday. It has a clean, big pool with plenty of chairs and loungers in the area as well as a bar stocking lots of drinks and ice creams are available. Rooms were clean and tidy and we had lovely views from our balcony. Restaurants are close and Chania town is a short bus trip away. We were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.
