Pleasant step

One night stop at this hotel after the Samaria Gorge.
The rooms are comfortable, have a balcony and sea views.
The breakfast very suitable.
The Service has the image of Crete, warm.
In short, one night to rest from 16 km from Samaria for a very affordable price.

A room with sea view and very pleasant staff

The welcome was very pleasant, the manager speaks good French which facilitates, without wishing, the exchanges. We were very well received, our luggage was managed before our arrival and after (roaming), always with a lot of friendliness and smile. The room was spotless and agia roumeli is very nice.

Great stay in April

Clean room, welcoming and kind people (we were entitled to free desserts), very good food (moussaka), …
When we went there in April we were the only ones in the village and it was great
In addition to the Samaria gorge there are other short walks to do near the village

Great location. Excellent value for money.

Stayed here one evening so we could get up early the next day to do the bottom half of the Samaria Gorge, and get back for a late breakfast and the early ferry. Wonderful location. Great evening meal and breakfast. Efficient and friendly staff. Excellent value for money.

Great choice

Me and my dad stayed respectively in room number 7 (sea view) and 1 (city view).
Tarra is right next to the boat ticket office and pier so you won’t miss your ride, and offers also a small rocky beach with sunbeds and umbrellas for free. The restaurant is very tasty, we loved their Boureki and Moussaka as much as the thick Tsatsiki and bread with olive oil. Andrea, the owner, is a big worker and try always his best to satisfy the customers. He speaks all languages and never misses any of your desires, from wine to infos to a trip organization. He can store your luggage in case of need, or borrow you a book. ( I promise I will send it back :)
Rooms are basic and maybe a bit old styled but everything is clean, from towels to linen, bathrooms with amenities, AC, well working wifi and a lovely balcony.
The price is reasonable, you are close to everything (well that’s easy in Agia) and the Tarra bar terrace downstair is a cool place to stay, attached to the sea, with pleasant wind, numerous drinks, nice music and locals enjoying the night.
The only think you may dislike, if you are a light sleeper, could be the thin walls/doors so depending on your neighbors, you may be sleeping like a baby (my dad:) or not sleeping at all (me)
With a short walk you may reach secluded beaches which are worth visiting, before returning for a tasty delicious dinner on Tarra’s terrace.
