The room was impeccably clean and everything appeared like it was new. Kristina on reception couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.

The staff was so so. Broken down bike on the property. Most importantly no a/c. It was awful. WS said bar/lounge nope. Just awful

Too expensive for a lack lustre service
The two receptionists who welcomed us on arrival were very friendly, helpful and informative, giving us a great first impression of the hotel.
Unfortunately, our stay didn’t live up to that initial welcome. When we returned after dinner, the temperature in the bedrooms was around 27°C while it was only 21°C outside. We tried using the air conditioning, but it was barely cooling the room. Sleeping with the windows open wasn’t really an option because it was noisy outside, so we asked the evening receptionist if someone could check it. She said she would speak to the owners, but no one ever came back to us. After a long day of travelling, we decided not to pursue it further.
Ironically, the air conditioning eventually started working properly at around 2:00 a.m., by which time the room became so cold that we woke up freezing. It clearly wasn’t functioning correctly.
We also found that the upstairs bed had sand in it, as did parts of the floor. By then it was very late, and given that our previous concern hadn’t been followed up, we didn’t feel it was worth calling reception again.
Breakfast was another disappointment. There is no breakfast room, so you have to book a time and breakfast is served in your room. While that could work, our family room only had two very small coffee tables, making it awkward for four people to eat comfortably, with very little space for the food.
When we checked out, we mentioned the issues with the air conditioning and the cleanliness. The receptionist on duty that morning was very dismissive and showed little interest in our feedback, which was disappointing and left us with a poor final impression.
We paid €330 for one night in the family room, which felt far too expensive for the standard of accommodation and service we received. It’s a shame because the hotel has potential and our initial welcome was excellent. However, the lack of response to the problems during our stay, together with the dismissive attitude at check-out, meant the experience did not represent good value for money.
