Property was very conveniently located a couple of minutes from the beach and a short walk into Skiathos Town. Very close to Bus Stop 5.
My studio had a sea view looking over an allotment with a nice balcony with table and chairs, sofa and drying rack.
Inside the studio is basic, but spotlessly clean with crisp white sheets and towels which were changed every couple of days. Bins emptied every day.
There was a very effective mosquito screen at the French doors.
Air conditioning at additional cost but safety deposit box included. Kitchenette has everything you need to prepare breakfast or lunch including an electric kettle and sandwich maker.
The host was very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay again.

Horrible, horrible, lazy and horrible!

I don’t think in all our years as Booking.com customers we have been driven to make a complaint. This place was unhygienic, poorly maintained and the owner did not care and fixed the bare minimum to deal with the issues raised. He didn’t even know the day we were arriving when I called from outside the property, he sent his 12 year old son to greet us and switch on supplies to our room.

Major issues:
1- Rusty oven, replaced with a less rusty oven.
2- Dirty and mouldy and rather disgusting shower curtain, taken away laundered and returned.
3- Cold water on kitchenette sink not working, had to buy gloves to avoid scolding. Owner promised to change but didn’t.
4- Zero WiFi, owner got it working to a reasonable level but the signal dropped after an hour. When on rare occasions you could get a signal by standing by the front door or on the balcony it was so weak we had to use our data as it was faster.
4- Rusty plug on bathroom sink that stuck and can only be lifted by use of a pen knife. Owner said he would replace but didn’t.
5- Chopping board in pot condition and dirty, we cleaned and asked for a replacement, owner agreed but did not replace.
6- Owner said he would attend at 7pm to replace the tap so rather be here in his way we went out. Upon our return the work wasn’t done. This was a waste of our time and money, the owner did apologise, but he damage was done.
7- Toilet seat was stained and old, owner replaced.
8- The photos on the listing are old and not representative of the condition of the room.
9- Owner cancelled our booking saying we were a no show, I think in an effort to stop us leaving a bad review.
Minor issues:
1- Fridge rusty and barely cold.
2- Have to pay for air con (not unusual), not detailed in the listing.
3- Have to pay for use of safe (this is a first for us), not detailed in listing.
This is not an exhaustive list, there were more problems than these. W may have to rethink our relationship with Booking.com and please avoid this awful place.

30 years going to Greece never had to complained until now

Very disappointing stay. The property was dirty and nothing like the photographs shown on Booking.com. There was no cold water from the kitchen tap, the oven was rusty, and the bathroom was unclean with a mouldy shower curtain.
The owner said he would fix the tap but never showed up. Although a few items were replaced during our stay, they were simply swapped like-for-like and did not improve the condition of the apartment.
The Wi-Fi was practically non-existent throughout our stay. We were also unhappy that air conditioning and the safety deposit box could only be used for an additional daily charge.
To make matters worse, the owner later marked our reservation as a “no show,” making it difficult for us to leave an honest review on Booking.com.

Dreadful

Checked in yesterday. It’s awful owner never pick d us up from the airport when he said he would, only the cleaner available on check in, didn’t know which studio we were in and doesn’t speak a word of English. Air conditioning not working, room smells of sewers, plug in bathroom sink not working, shower fixings broken, rust on all kitchen appliances, room rammed with old furniture and can hardly move around. Please don’t bother booking

Stay away.

The room smelled like a sewer at all hours because of the stench coming from the shower collection grilles and drain pipes, probably not siphoned.
Dirty room and rusty appliances.
650 euros have disappeared from the safe provided in the room. I reported it to local police command.
Fortunately, after three days of this bad experience that ruined our holiday, we moved to a perfect and welcoming studios at Alonissos.
