The gateway to the 17 islands

Nirvana is one of the top properties in Riung, a place that owes its fame to the fact that from there you leave for the 17 islands. Bungalows equipped with comfortable beds, air conditioning, TV that we did not use, even the mosquito net around the bed, coffee table and outdoor ottomans. The pebble bath is cute and quaint, with pebbles coming from the blue beach. Breakfast varied and plentiful. We even did credit to the dinner. I also took advantage of the laundry service. The added value is the ability of the owner Tam, to make himself available for any need. We organized with them the excursion to the 17 islands, one of the paradises on earth. Flying foxes, semi-pristine coral reefs, atolls unfortunately attacked by plastic and it is a shame. Sleeping in tents on these islets, with barbecue masterfully prepared by sailors is priceless. Highly recommended.

Basic but could easily be improved.

This lodge is very basic with premises in need of maintenance. With a little effort the place could be so much better. The host is friendly and helpful, but rooms badly in need of updating. The food in the restaurant is also basic. The location is good for snorkelling in the 17 Islands.

Great visit in Riung

We had a great stay for our visit in Riung. The owner of the hotel is an amazing host , chatting with guests to make sure all is well. The restaurant had tasty food and the bungalows were nice and peacefully set back from the road. I highly recommend a visit to Riung and the 17 Island and this is certainly a great place to stay.

Best option in Riung

So , this place is not yet on any booking sites , you need to contact Tam directly - +6281337106007 - his English is extremely good and messages on WhatsApp are dealt with very quickly. The bungalows are stand alone , with a little verandah , the A/C works , and there is ( mostly ) hot water. Everything you need. The breakfasts are well done , with trouble gone to select a good variety of fruit, nice omelettes and pancakes. But best of all is Tam. He really knows what’s going on , and is a mine of useful and insightful information. He organised our boat trip , and it was by far the best lunch of anything we saw, and the boys were great. Don’t even bother to try and organise your own ! We saw everything Riung had to offer in the way of accomodation ( you will already have worked out not much ! ) and were pleased with our choice.

Simple & perfect

Nice bungalows next to Riung 17 islands Marine Park!
Very confortable beds and good food!
Service is very nice and friendly.
Laundry service available
Good value and probably one of the best address to overnight in Riung.
