Lovely Riad for our 1st time to Marrakech
Fouad & Habiba will look after you
Make sure to have at least one meal at the Riad during your stay ☺️
Central to everywhere and if a taxi is needed easy to find in city centre
Special thanks to Fatima and the girls keeping our room clean
Book your transfers and excursions directly with the Riad Anabel.
Recommend the OurikaValley tour (amazing views) and a Hammam
Only negative; no need for plush rugs in the room they gather too much dust
We will definitely recommend RA to friends and family ☺️

A truly exceptional stay with wonderful personal touches
I had such a fabulous time at Hotel Annabel and couldn’t recommend it more. The attention to detail here is 100% — it really makes all the difference.
Breakfast was a real highlight, served every morning on the lovely roof terrace. It started with a wonderful Mediterranean-style spread: different fresh breads, olives, olive oil, cereals and more, all laid out ready for us. Then we were served delicious hot options like made-to-order omelettes and eggs — there was such a great variety every day. Whenever we returned to the riad after being out, we were always offered tea straight away, which was such a nice, welcoming touch.
I also treated myself to the hammam here, and I can’t recommend it highly enough — it was absolutely first class. My room was spotlessly clean too, with extra water provided and everything I could possibly need already there. If there was ever anything else I wanted, it was arranged quickly and easily, no trouble at all.
A special mention to Habiba, who runs the hotel — you can really see how well she looks after both her guests and her staff. I even saw first-hand how caring and attentive the team is: when someone got separated and lost, Habiba sent people straight away to find them. That level of care sums up the whole experience.
The customer service was warm and genuine, the food was beautiful, and nothing was ever too much. I’d definitely stay again when I’m next in Marrakech.

Perfect stay at Riad Anabel
We had a fantastic time at Riad Anabel. The riad is absolutely beautiful and authentic. Location is also superb with all main attractions easily accessible by foot. Breakfast was delicious. Fouad and his auntie were so kind, friendly, helpful and caring. So were other people who were working at the riad. We created unforgettable memories during our stay. Thank you so much for treating us as your family.

Fabulous - service and a genuine warm welcome to Morroco
I have travelled the world on many trips but this will be a highlight. From the moment we entered the riad it was an oasis of calm and service. Nothing was too much trouble and Fouad provided exceptional personal service. Simple things like booking taxis, recommendations for meals etc, which we had no idea, ended up being highlights of our holiday. The room was spacious, quirky and charming. We were collected from the taxi rank and led through the back streets, and opening the door of the riad showed us a beautiful building. A meal was provided to us when we arrived late - one of the best introductions to Moroccan cuisine. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding and always something a little different each day. A small pool in the riad was a welcome chance to cool off, and you could order a mint tea and biscuits if you wanted. The riad is an easy 10 minute walk (allowing time for browsing) to the main square. On the corner is a convenience store for bottled water etc and then souk shops and restaurants all the way into the centre of the city. Our week flew by and it was one of the best holidays we've ever had. My second visit to the city and this time really got into the culture and sites. It felt safe and welcoming. Everyone we met was happy to see us and easy to communicate in French or English. I noticed 10 years after my first visit that the city has less pollution, the taxis are more modern. Some signs of the earthquake but nothing that would put you off. Highlights were the museums - amazing presentations of the history and culture of Morocco. Street markets as you would expect - full on! Food excellent.

What an exceptional experience! Fouad and the rest of the Riad staff were quite amazing, helpful, kind and attentive. The rooms were charming and well maintained, the Riad itself was immaculate with a beautiful courtyard. Lot’s of lovely alcoves to sit and enjoy some mint tea. Literally steps away from the souks and the main squares. The breakfast was a highlight each morning, a lavish spread of cosmopolitan and local food, fresh yogurt, breads, traditional eggs, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee/tea. Seriously good. Highly recommend it!
