Clean and clean room, breakfast wasn't to Thon Standard

Arrived at the hotel around 17:00 after a drive from Tromsø, checked in the room, which was welcoming and clean, would in the restaurant to eat dinner, but there was rigging for travel companies who had pre-ordered, got notified in the reception that we either had to go down to the center to find a restaurant, or order take away to get delivered at the hotel, it ended up ordering to get delivered pizza, it was otherwise very good.
Breakfast was not quite up to Thon standard, but neat enough. A good enough stay.

Worst??

I hope this is the worst Thon hotel I've stayed at - and there are many. The hotel needs a thorough renovation in terms of rooms, bathroom cleaning, breakfast service, "garden," etc. The view from the room on the ground floor was directly into 2m high weeds, and the entire area and hotel looks worn out and poorly maintained, and finally, when you leave the hotel, you are charged for a parking space.

A hotel in need of renovation!

The young receptionist was nice and the rooms were spacious and the beds good. But the hotel is worn, the linens were dirty. The receptionist came up again, but this should have been seen by the cleaners. There was smell of smoke/old smell in the bathroom, and the shower attachment was loose so you couldn’t hang up the shower head. And the breakfast gets a 2. The boiled eggs were ice-cold. Even though we had breakfast early, it seems the eggs were cooked the night before. Nothing unique on breakfast, like some salads, granola, some good hot food etc. It is also negative that there is pay-parking at the hotel when it is outside the city centre. And they didn't want to show the World Cup match in a shared area, saying we had TV in the rooms. But we would be gathered from several rooms. We used to stick to the Thon Hotel in Norway, but this is definitely the worst of all in the chain. (Our overall opinion, from 6 pieces)

A bit out of city center but a easy walk down to it... and good for condition to walk back :) ... ok rooms and very good breakfast. Good value for a 1-2 night stay. Restaurant also ok, but open only from 6-9pm... and just on weekdays! Closed on weekends!!!

Never again!

The first impression is that the photos (from booking.com, etc.) must be very old; it immediately gives a rather neglected impression. The parking lot in front of the entrance, which does not belong to the hotel and must be paid for separately (150 NOK per night), is unkempt, and the greenery around the house, which is usually so well-kept in Norway, is neglected. There is no "good day" at the reception, only "do you have a reservation?" We received a budget "cell" (booked through booking.com as a standard room of 18m2), as that was all it was. Narrow beds, certainly not 18m2, the curtains did not darken the room, the carpet in the hotel was dirty, everything was more than outdated. There is a hairdryer and soap in the bathroom, but no cosmetic tissues, no USB ports, and no space for luggage or anything like that. View of the supermarket's garbage bins, so much for the view of the city! Yes, there is a breakfast buffet, but it is rather unloving; an employee in dirty sweatpants was handling it.
For our dog, who hardly had space to lie down, we paid an additional 400 NOK.
For the budget room we received (unfortunately, we only realized this too late), we naturally paid the standard price.
The price is absolutely overpriced. Overall impression: one feels, unfortunately often in Norway, like a nuisance as a guest, who is nevertheless heavily charged.
