Value for money well.

Simple but cozy hotel, comfortable mattresses and pillow (although one bed the box spring when you moved towards noise). with bar below for lunch or breakfast. We were passing through and we had a night.
All clean, the very friendly reception lady. The bad thing is that the village has nothing, not a supermarket to buy.

Tried too hard for rural quirkiness!

We booked a room for three nights, but only stayed one as the room was very small, the bathroom minuscule and the noise from the next room overwhelming!
This is a small, family run hotel and is 8kms from Cuenca, it is not very well sign posted, and the only parking is in the street, or in a nearby street!

Groups visit

Booked this hotel on a Groupon special for a visit to Cuenca- a world heritage site.2 nights B&B and dinner on first night included for 69€ for two.What a bargain.Hotel is basic and a little old fashioned.However,the rooms and beds are comfortable and bathroom adequate.All very clean.Dinner was excellent and staff friendly.English is not spoken so take your dictionary if you don't speak Spanish.A very good base for visiting the area.One restaurant in the village for a 15€ menu del noche.

Very accommodating, great food

We stayed here to explore the nearby village of Cuenca. The staff were very accommodating and although their English was limited they tried their best to accommodate our needs. It is located in the centre of Arcas and we enjoyed walking around the streets (which was like a ghost town) and viewing the sunflower fields and contrasting architecture. Overall- we really enjoyed our stay!!
The lights in the halls were automated though and gave you about 5 seconds to make it to your room before switching off- a two person job... One to unlock the door and the other to dance in front of the sensor!

Nice Hotel in a quiet small town.

Arcas del Villa is a small town within a 10 minute drive of Cuenca (about a 2 hour drive southeast of Madrid). The Hotel is located near the center of Arcas and provides clean newly refurbished rooms and a restaurant that serves excellent dinners and breakfast.
The staff is very helpful and speak just enough english to get what you need. They treated us very well and we recommend this hotel to anyone passing through this part of Spain.
