COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE – do not book
We arrived at the accommodation and found 2 cockroaches in the rooms. Communication with the host was very poor. The only “solution” offered was to close the windows (which were already closed when we arrived). No alternative apartment was offered and a refund was immediately refused, despite us having left the accommodation immediately and practically not using it.
We booked another accommodation just one street closer to the cathedral, where we had no issues with cockroaches at all, which clearly shows that the host’s claim that this is “a normal summer issue” is not true.
The property appears to have serious CLEANLINESS problems and is likely INFESTED, as we also found additional cockroaches near the elevator when leaving.
DO NOT RECOMMEND – absolutely not worth booking.

Do not trust this accommodation
Extremely disappointing. We had two major floods in the building - one in the stair well and one in the bathroom of the apartment. On each occasion the electricity and water needed to be disconnected for several hours. The elevator did not work again for the duration of our stay due to flood damaging the electrics. The internal building is extremely noisy when the staircase is used, making sleep impossible. We asked for a partial refund as we had had to change all our plans for the final day and had been severely disrupted twice. The management asked us to wait until they had resolved with their insurers so they could come up with a final solution They then refused to communicate further with us and said it was the problem for booking.com to resolve. So they gave us zero refund. This was rude, unfair and not honest. Other problems with the booking - we were given a different flat than the picture showed and there was a cockroach in the shower
