Jerte. A fairytale valley.

Magnificent hotel. Very well located and prepared.
Don't miss the Extremaduran menu.
An hour and a half hike through a fantastic oak and chestnut forest to Los Pilones in the Garganta de los Infiernos.
Very good service.

I do not recommend it.

The environment is very beautiful, but it is very neglected; the rooms with bathtubs are not recommended.
The buffet is scarce and cold; if you do not arrive at the first hour, they do not replenish it, the bread is hard as a rock and reheated, not once was it tender.
We were assigned a room where the air conditioning did not work and the fan did not either; we were given the runaround until we requested to speak with the manager, who was very rude. In the end, we were moved to another room. My group consisted of 11 people, and we all agreed that it is not worth repeating.

Pleasant lodging

Hotel with a great location and beautiful views by the river. The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. The well-maintained interior areas. The exterior areas were not lacking in maintenance, but the pool was green, which gives a bad impression of a 4-star hotel and, in general, any accommodation. Just like the entrance facade, which also deserves some repairs. It does not have its own parking, so parking becomes complicated during peak season.
The half-board meals were adequate and in more than sufficient quantities. Special mention to the dulce de leche pastry that we enjoyed very much. The breakfast buffet was varied and generally good.
The staff was very friendly.
We would repeat this experience.

Does not deserve 4 stars

Hotel renovated in the Spanish way. Very little light in the rooms. No kettle for coffee or tea. Breakfast good but no more. Comfortable bedding. Used bathroom radiator. Very noisy river side. A little expensive for the services offered.

Super New Year's Eve dinner

We have spent 3 nights, including the December 31 with dinner included and everything has gone very well.
From the hotel you can visit surrounding villages and very interesting nature.
