A great hotel and youth hostel in Rochas

Recently opened in a wonderful, old refurbished typical house in the town of Rochas, this is a hostel with dorms as well as double rooms. The place is centrally located, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished with a lot of local art and wide and inviting communal areas. Carolina, who runs the place, does an excellent job and is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Have a look at her art works exhibited there. Rochas is a great and cheap base to explore the area and its beaches, and has some wonderful restaurants (the best is El Pato, just 2 blocks away from the hostel). The transportation from Rochas to anywhere along the beach is excellent. Highly recommended.

I Didn’t Want to Leave

My room was very spacious and wonderfully clean. Even better, the people who lived here and the guests were absolutely charming. A friend of the host took me for a ride to the hills west of town and introduced me to some folks who live out there. One person lives in an old 19th century grist mill. So charming. My time here was way too short.

En casa

Con una amiga fuimos a Rocha sin tenerlo previsto y nos llevamos una sorpresa. Fuimos en enero y el ambiente era tranquilo y agradable. La posada donde nos quedamos es increible, la casa es antigua y esta muy bien cuidada. Las personas son muy amables y amorosas. Los cuartos son grandes y cómodos. La cocina es de sueños y todo está muy limpio. Todo excelente. No dudaremos en recomendarlo ni en volver a hospedarnos.

Sentirse como en casa

Hermoso lugar y hermosas personas se encargan de él. Estuvimos 1 semana con mi pareja y nos sentimos muy cómodos, tanto para descansar, para cocinar como para usar libremente las instalaciones. Carolina nos hizo sentir como en casa por su amabilidad, servicialidad y por el amor que le pone diariamente a Casa Rodó.

bien ubicado, excelente atención

Hostal reciclado con muy buen gusto. La atención es personalizada y muy buena, todo limpio, bien iluminado y buena onda. Bien ubicado cerca del centro de la ciudad y lugar muy tranquilo. El hostal es grande y tiene espacio al aire libre. Muy linda cocina
