This was truly an experience! I went with my mum for a birthday trip and the location was perfect for us. And the building itself was a lovely part of our stay too. I would gladly stay here again, felt very nice to support a local Italian family.

The Good:
- Great location near quaint restaurants, shopping boutiques, and main attractions
- Access to public transport (bus)
- Linda, who hosted breakfast/room cleaning, was sweet and very helpful
- Building and room is charming in classic Roman style
- Functional A/C kept room comfortable
- Clean, fresh linens
- More affordable than hotel alternatives but you get what you pay for (see below)
The Not So Good:
- Apartment is dated and in need of some repair (e.g. floor pieces dislodging, nails sticking out of woodwork, low water pressure)
- Door locks were not adequate. You could not deadbolt from the inside.
- No shower. Need to use hand wand in bath tub that has no mount. Water ends up all over the floor.
- Safe isn't mounted to anything and can be easily carried away
- There was major construction right beside the apartment that started daily at 6:30AM
- Room is very small. No sitting area
- While Linda was very attentive at breakfast, the same limited items (pastries, bread, cheese and cold cuts) were served daily and become progressively more stale over the stay. Fruits/Yogurts/Eggs would have been a nice addition.

Giulia, the manager is the most helpful person you could hope for in Rome. Any issues we had (with the internet) were solved asap, and she is very kind. Also very kind is the woman who serves the delicious breakfast, and takes care of the rooms. Great location!

The room was beautiful, the exposed ceilings were charming. The marble in the bathroom was stunning.

It was one of the worst experiences we had. Hotel has NO main entrance or front desk. You have to go in through a coded gate on a side street. There was only a lady who spoke no English there to collect the money for the tax. Nobody there to ask a question or contact in an emergency. The price was ridiculous considering our friends stayed in a hotel with 24 hours front desk, centrally located and paid half the price. The price for three nights was highway robbery.
