Great stay
Great stay!
We had a large apartment facing out onto the Main Street. I think the apartments in the building do vary.
The apartment was very clean, good facilities and not noisy at all. Lift in the building.
Amazing brunch place across the road.
Good location.
Would return

To avoid!
Terrible noise! The employees did nothing for us! No sleep for 2 nights!
In addition to noise from the building, also very noisy groups. Customer service did NOTHING when we indicated that we could not sleep because of these groups!

Unsafe for young children AVOID
I have waited to post having given the accommodation ample opportunity to rectify the issues. We stayed here with our 2 young children aged 4&6 in July, celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. The accommodation was central, well equipped, spacious and very clean. Ideal for a couple.
Our apartment was on the 5th floor. We noticed the windows( and balcony doors) had handles similar to door handles, which could easily be opened by young children. The windows opened out, like a door would. There was absolutely no way of locking any of these windows. On looking out, the sheer drop down to the concrete floor below was terrifying. There were no window restrictors, the windows just opened wide.
We brought this to the attention of reception within the first 10 minutes of our stay and requested another room on a lower level.
They asked did our children often climb out of windows? We were told to buy a bell and tie it to the window handle . Then, if our children fell out we we would hear the bell ring. ?????!!! Yes seriously.
We were told to come back to reception the following morning if they could help. So that night we each slept with one child, so that we could watch them and ensure they were safe. It only takes one moment of curiosity for a small child to lean out of a window to then lose their balance and topple out. The children’s beds were directly below these windows. We were told off for moving the bed away from the window as we might damage the floor.
We asked again in the morning for another room but none available. We said we’d like to check out and offered to pay for the night we’d stayed but find other accommodation for the other 2 nights. They refused and said we would not receive a refund for the nights we wouldn’t be staying.
We asked them to fit simple window restrictors costing a couple of euros. We even googled these and showed them. Their caretaker said no they didn’t want to damage the window frames.
Unfortunately the hotel were not helpful and could not see that this accommodation was unsuitable for young children. Since our stay I have been in contact with the hotel and lastminute.com but neither are interested.
Please do not stay here with young children.

Great and nice for families
From the begging the staff was great, the place was nice, clean and very comfortable for our family.
Lara organised us a nice basket of goodies to celebrate our anniversary with my wife. It was very nice complementary gift.
Location was great and very central to everything.
Thank you Lara for making our staying so good and despite our family emergency you were on top of everything.

Super
Definitely the best apartament ever in Barcelona. Very clean, cozy, nice, in the city centre, we have best stay there. Adriel was so friendly to us and others too in reception. He helped us with all the things we need to know. I will turn back here again.
